Bill S. L. Lee was an electrical engineer by profession, an artist by nature and passion.
After thirty one years in the electrical engineering profession, Bill decided that "work
just gets in the way" and so he retired in April 2006. He now lives a new
life and is able to spend the time to explore, experience and create art, his
other life-long passion.
Art has always been an important part of his life despite having
a successful engineering career and raising a family. Although there have been many drawings for the
kids and a few paintings, his art pursuit took a new turn in 2003; this is when he met the highly
acclaimed artist David Langevin and was introduced to David's unique painting techniques.
David's coaching and constant encouragement are a positive influence on Bill's art, and Bill
credits David as his mentor.
Bill is fascinated with the wonders of our natural world and life.
His passion is to celebrate these beauties through his paintings.
His motto is, "Let me take you there." Join him in that celebration and share those beauties, peace and joy. Enjoy!
Bill pursued electrical engineering and obtained
a Masters Degree from Texas A&M University. He immigrated to
Canada in 1975 and moved his family to Kamloops in 1981, where they
still reside.
